For one of my final university projects, I wanted to create a new campaign for Cartier’s Love Bracelet, a golden coated bangle which is permanent once fastened. The ad would explore how the mechanism of the bangle is a powerful bond to have within a relationship, as well as showing the ups and downs that a couple could go through together.
For this piece, one of the main challenges was to ensure that the design was classy and within the guidelines of the Cartier brand, bringing it’s elegant heritage into a modern piece. I wanted to use 2D rather than 3D animation to give the piece a unique tone, setting it apart from the campaigns that Cartier has already made for the product.
